Which buyers of company data take companies outside the United States?
Quick answer, updated
16 of the 51 buyers in the index publish where they buy, and most of them start with the United States. SuperAnnotate says any size, any industry, anywhere; Turing names the UK, Canada and the EU after the US; AI26 lists India, Singapore, the UAE and Germany; Databounties, AIData.Broker and McKays take UK companies. Several US-first buyers add that the data must be in English. The other 35 publish no geography, which means they have not said, not that they refuse. Employee email and chat from EU, UK or Canada-based staff usually need consent or anonymization, and we flag it before any introduction.

Every published geography, in the buyer’s words
16 buyers in the index publish where they buy. The table comes straight from the index, so it changes when a row does. Each name links to the full record and its sources.
| Buyer | Tier | Type | Where it buys, in its words |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Content Offer Pilot | established | AI data company | Worldwide (pilot partners are described as thousands of partners worldwide); eligibility by country is not published |
| micro1 | established | AI data company | US prioritized, then other Western markets. Defunct-company track lists the US, UK, Canada, India, Australia, Singapore, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany and France. English data. |
| Mode (BizBuyData) | established | AI data company | Teams primarily based in the US are the strongest fit; the referral program covers companies in the US, Canada, UK and Australia |
| Nyne | established | AI data company | US (eligibility is stated in US W-2 employees) |
| SuperAnnotate | established | AI data company | Anywhere (stated) |

| Sanctus Data Labs | new | AI data company | United States is the stated focus; the partner program requires English. The intake also lists Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia/NZ and Other, without confirming eligibility. |
| SourceX | new | AI data company | US prioritized; also Canada and the EU; UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, South Africa, Latin America, the UAE and Saudi Arabia when at least 90% of the data is in English |
The other 35 buyers publish no geography. Among the established buyers that is Appen, Centific, Handshake AI, Labelbox Prism, Mercor, Scale AI and Troveo. They have not said, which is a question to ask, not a refusal.
United States only
Some buyers focus on US companies. Anthroly takes companies headquartered and operating in the United States only. Montlake Licensing requires a US-based team and customers. Nyne states its minimum as 20+ full-time US W-2 employees, a payroll definition that leaves out staff employed anywhere else. Mode sits between: teams primarily based in the US are the strongest fit, while its referral agreement pays introducers for companies in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
United Kingdom and Ireland
- Databounties: United States and United Kingdom only, companies with 11 or more employees.
- AIData.Broker: holders based in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
- McKays: a UK intermediary; other locations are not specified.
- Turing: most regions, with the strongest demand in the US, UK, Canada and the EU.
- micro1: the track for companies no longer operating lists the UK and Ireland among ten countries.
- SourceX: lists the UK.
When a broker says “international”, ask which buyer it means.
Canada
AIData.Broker and Turing name Canada directly. SourceX lists Canada, and Sanctus Data Labs lists Canada in its intake while stating a US focus. Employee email and chat from Canada-based staff fall under the same consent caution as the EU and UK.
European Union
Turing names the EU among its strongest markets, SourceX lists the EU, AI26 lists Germany, and micro1’s defunct-company track lists Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany and France. Ooak Data publishes no geography but states on its legal page that data belonging to partners in the European Union is processed and stored exclusively within the EU, through Ooak Data SAS in Paris. For an EU company, where the raw archive is stored and when it is deleted are contract questions worth asking every buyer.
Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America
AI26 is the one buyer that leads with these markets: India, Singapore, the UAE and Germany. SourceX publishes a list that include Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, South Africa, Latin America and the UAE, with the US prioritized. micro1’s defunct-company track lists India, Australia and Singapore. SuperAnnotate says any size, any industry, anywhere.
Language
Some buyers publish an English-language rule: micro1 (English data), Polyshares (English-language data required, per its October 9, 2026 interview) and Sanctus Data Labs (its partner program requires English). A company outside the English-speaking world with records in English, such as a software company whose Slack and tickets are in English, meets these rules; one whose records are in another language should ask before applying.
What changes outside the US
- Consent for employee communications. Email and chat written by staff based in the EU, UK or Canada usually need consent or anonymization before licensing. We flag it before any introduction; we do not refuse it.
- Where the data is stored. Ooak Data commits to EU processing for EU partners and deletes the raw archive within 30 days of delivery. Other buyers publish no residency rule, so ask.
- Payroll definitions. A minimum stated in US W-2 employees, as at Nyne, counts only US payroll. Count the way each buyer counts before you rule yourself in or out; the size guide lists every published minimum.
- Who signs. For a company that has closed, Ooak Data accepts a director, liquidator or administrator, and Turing accepts anyone authorized to transfer the data. The shutdown guide covers what to keep before tools are cancelled.
