# Data Licensing Index > Data Licensing Index is an independent, dated index of who pays companies to license their internal data to AI labs, with sources for every figure. Published by AC0 AI, S.L.U., Málaga, Spain. Editor: David Persson. Contact: hello@datalicensingindex.com. Data Licensing Index covers the market for a business's internal operating data. It is not a benchmark of open-data or AI-transparency policies, and it is not affiliated with the Open Data Institute, the Data Provenance Initiative or any financial index provider. Last checked: Oct 18, 2026 (2026-10-18). Independent index. Sellers never pay. Buyers may pay referral fees when an introduced company signs; any buyer that pays us is marked on its row, and a fee never changes a buyer's place in the index. Ranges are as published by each company and are not verified payouts. We never ask sellers for data, credentials or exports. Needs extra care: employee email or chat from staff in the EU, UK or Canada, and client data from law, accounting, tax or health firms, usually need consent or anonymization before anyone can license them. ## Main pages - [Home](https://datalicensingindex.com): Data Licensing Index is an independent, dated index of who pays companies to license their internal data to AI labs, with sources for every figure. - [Guides](https://datalicensingindex.com/guides): dated guides for sellers. - [Buyer index](https://datalicensingindex.com/buyers): all 51 buyers with type, tier, payout model, published range, seller fee, minimum size, ingestion method and sources. - [Get offers](https://datalicensingindex.com/get-offers): intake form for companies that want buyers compared for them.
